Residents of the Sir James and Lady Peiris Cheshire Home enjoyed a memorable Colombo city tour on 15 December 2024 with the support of the Classic Car Club.
The event offered residents an opportunity to spend time outside the Home, experience the city and enjoy a special journey in a collection of classic vehicles.
A special day beyond the Home
Community outings are an important part of creating an active, inclusive and enjoyable environment for adults with disabilities. They provide a welcome change from the daily routine while encouraging social interaction, confidence and participation.
During the tour, residents were able to experience Colombo from a different perspective and share the journey with members and supporters of the Classic Car Club.
